Unlike common vegetable and herb seed that we typically sow in spring, fall and winter are the best times to plant native perennial seed for spring germination. Join us for a basic lesson on collecting, cleaning and sowing some of the Pittsburgh area’s classic native landscape plants. Participants will sow 8 different high-wildlife value native species to take home. This program is offered free of cost thanks to generous support from the Fox Chapel Garden Club. 15 participant limit, registration is required: https://aswp.app.neoncrm.com/nx/portal/neonevents/events?path=%2Fportal%2Fevents%2F49849%2Fstorefront%2F228824
