Join La Vispera for a hands-on workshop beneath the shade structure artwork they created for Shore Thing. Participants will explore the same materials and techniques used in the installation, including selecting, cutting, and assembling discarded plastics into original artworks to take home. With design options for varying skill levels, this workshop offers a firsthand introduction to La Vispera’s creative process and sustainable approach to artmaking. This workshop is part of the Pittsburgh Creative Corps artist program series, presented by Shiftworks Community + Public Arts and made possible by the City of Pittsburgh’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Arts Programming initiative.
