Join ALT Education Associate Sara for a walk in the woods as part of RAD Days! This hike will focus on plant and mushroom interactions and how their relationship shapes our ecosystem. Hike runs rain or shine. NO WALK-INS will be permitted. We will not be foraging on this hike or discussing edibility.
Foraging for mushrooms can be risky and it is never safe to eat a wild mushroom unless an expert confirms the identity. This Science Stroll is free as part of the 2024 RAD Days. RAD Days is an annual thank you to the public with free admission, tours, performances, and family activities offered by the organizations and attractions that are funded by RAD.
