Riverlife’s Sounds on the Shore concert series takes place every Thursday evening throughout the summer on Shore Thing – a floating platform anchored just off Allegheny Landing on Pittsburgh’s North Shore, nestled between the iconic Sister Bridges. NASH.V.ILL is a high-energy funk-rock-soul band from Pittsburgh led by guitarist and songwriter Byron Nash. Blending the raw power of rock with the groove of funk and the soul of gospel, the band features powerhouse vocalist Jacquea Mae, bassist Josh Powell, and drummer/keyboardist Jimi “Julz” Powell. Known for electrifying live shows and tracks like “Can’t Bring Me Down” and “Sister,” NASH.V.ILL brings a bold, genre-bending sound that’s earned them recognition as one of Pittsburgh’s most dynamic acts.
Step-free access to Shore Thing is available via the Northside Public Fishing Dock at Allegheny Landing. For more information about accessibility on the riverfronts, please contact Riverlife’s Accessibility Coordinator, Maria Riley, at maria@riverlifepgh.org or 412-258-6636, ext. 107.
