Riverlife welcomes The Citizen Science Lab to Shore Thing this summer, with free activities for young students. Plants are all around us and are involved in our daily life, whether that is the grass we walk on or the fruit we eat. Young students will get to learn about different types of plants and how they grow and reproduce. Participants will create their own wildflower seed bombs! Seed Bombs are small clusters packed with wildflower seeds that are designed to bring greenery and colorful pollinator habitats to your backyard.

Step-free access to Shore Thing is available via the Northside Public Fishing Dock at Allegheny Landing. For more information about accessibility on the riverfronts, please contact Riverlife’s Accessibility Coordinator, Maria Riley, at maria@riverlifepgh.org or 412-258-6636, ext. 107.
