History doesn’t stop at five o’clock. Join us after hours on the third Thursday of every month for an evening at the History Center! Grab a drink from the cash bar, explore six floors of award-winning exhibitions, and enjoy special tours that offer a deeper dive into the Pittsburgh stories you won’t want to miss. This month’s featured tour is a behind-the-scenes look into the frozen world of our newest exhibition, Planet Ice: Mysteries of the Ice Ages. Journey through Earth’s prehistoric past, come face-to-face with Ice Age giants, and test your survival skills at the interactive atlatl station. Whether you’re unwinding after work, planning a date night, or gathering with friends, Third Thursdays offer a fresh way to experience the #1 History Museum in America. Third Thursdays are included with regular admission and offer access to the Heinz History Center for the entire day (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.). Kids aged 17 and under always receive free admission, supported by the Kamin “Free for Kids” Initiative. Have an Allegheny County library card? Register for a RAD Pass to enjoy Third Thursdays for FREE.
