Chatham Baroque joins forces with Allegheny RiverTrail Park for their June 8 Grand Opening event! In this special Peanut Butter & Jam Session, percussionist Danny Mallon joins Chatham Baroque's artistic directors, Andrew Fouts (violin), Patricia Halverson (viola da gamba), and Scott Pauley (theorbo) to introduce the variety of percussion instruments he uses to make the music come alive.
Chatham Baroque’s Peanut Butter & Jam Sessions are informal concerts designed specifically for preschoolers and their accompanying grown-ups. Young children are encouraged to become active and enthusiastic listeners through music, dance, and games. Kindermusik teacher Lynda Wingerd joins Andrew, Patty, and Scott, and a variety of special guests for musical adventures that are lively, educational — and fun!
Free event for adults and children ages 2 and above. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes. PB&J is made possible in part by the Allegheny Regional Asset District, Buhl Foundation, and Calvary Episcopal Church.
