Ready for RADical Days? Our first weekend is jam-packed!

From free shows in Downtown Pittsburgh to free admission to great museums, your weekend has every opportunity to be RAD!
Stretch out your summer with free events & experiences all this weekend!
The end of summer can be a bummer, right? Most of us have wrapped up our vacations and have gone back to business.
But we don't think summer fun is over yet!
RADical Days 2022 starts this Friday -- kicking off more than five weeks with 80+ FREE events and experiences throughout Allegheny County.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9
Start RADical Days with a trip downtown!
The David L. Lawrence Convention Center will offer tours at 10 AM and Noon with free parking.
Then it's time for Friday Night Lights... stage lights, that is.
Pittsburgh CLO welcomes everyone to You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown (even if you're a blockhead) at 7:00 PM Friday, plus an encore Saturday at 1:00 PM.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10
Our first Saturday of RADical Days is packed. Let's break out the bullet points:
- 10 AM-1 PM: Citiparks Alphabet Trail & Tales at Blue Slide Playground
- 10 AM-5 PM: Free admission to the Heinz History Center
- 1 PM: Pittsburgh CLO - You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown
- 2 PM: Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra at Boyce Park
- 2-3 PM: Wonders of Wildlife at CLP - Allegheny
- 4-7 PM: Opening event for Plain Silk, Uncarved Wood at Associated Artists of Pittsburgh
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11
Museums and performances are the name of the game. Start your Sunday at 10 AM at the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History or The Fort Pitt Museum.
At noon, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre invites families to The Backyard in the Cultural District to 'Dance The Story.'
The day wraps up with the Rising Stars of Pittsburgh Opera performing for one and all.

Note: RADical Days at the National Aviary (Sept. 11-12), Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens (Sept. 12) and the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium (Oct. 2) have been fully booked. You must have a timed ticket to enter on those dates.
